Wróciłem i oceniam na 7/10 film ciekawy i spokojny. What thrills me the most is the fact that this is the last track of the CD2. Obejrzałem. postaram się nie spoilerować, niemniej przestrzegam wszystkich fanów dobrego sci-fi przed zbytnim rozbudzeniem apetytu po tym zwiastunie. Koło Interstellara to nawet nie leżało. Nie zniechęcam do obejrzenia, może komuś się spodobać, ale to nie jest kino sci-fi, chociaż początek rozbudza nadzieję, niestety potem jest tylko gorzej. Film nie jest wielowarstwowy w wymowie jak Interstellar, sprowadza się w zasadzie do jednej filozoficznej konkluzji na poziomie mądrego gimnazjalisty, ewentualnie wczesnego licealisty. I to wszystko, dla mnie wielkie rozczarowanie. The film makers are prescient- they showed Cheney being booed at a National's game more than a year before Trump.

I won't be long, because there's nothing to say about this movie. It's incredibly boring & bad! I love good sci-fi and I normally like movies, but this one is so bad, it's incredible! The whole story you follow 's character on his voyage to meet/find father, while nothing happens. I won't go into details, because I won't waste any additional time for this nonsense. All scenes in it are way too long, basically no action and the story is hollow. I didn't realize that with a Saturn style chemical rocket you can achieve incredible speeds and that few kilograms of antimatter can destroy a Solar system. This film is a crap.

If you look at all the U.S military uniforms in Ad Astra you can tell that the camo they use is basically the exact same as the Nazi Heer splinter uniforms, just with grey patterns instead of green brown and tan. I was very excited to see this movie and I think Pitt is a great actor, but I found this wooden and far less awe-inspiring than most of the other films to which it's being compared or linked. I like films that bend my genre expectations, but only if the end result is truly revealing and meaningful, and I found that quite absent in Ad Astra. Yes, there were some moments of great drama (McBride's first fall to earth) some of significant (not great) beauty (including a second-rate pastiche of Doug Trumbull and Dan Glass) some of great humanity (the pathos of Ruth Negga was definitely Oscar-worthy) but none of them were stitched together into a great film. Pitt's evolution via his travails to the heart of his "father's" darkness were very predictable, yet not so believable, and at times ridiculous. It was a mediocre mashup of 2001, The Tree of Life, Apocalypse Now and Gravity, without any unexpected revelations.

Christian Bale is playing a Matthew McConaughey role here. The movie keeps on pause at 1:20 :7.
